"What an amazing find. I feel so grateful that this hidden gem came up on my Facebook feed when I was looking for dog friendly stays. As we had a few child free days we just needed a place for grown ups and dogs.
Tracie and Mike have thought of everything you need in the lodge. The decor is gorgeous and the details are so lovely throughout.
Our dogs were made to feel super welcome (treats!) and safe to roam around the lodge.
The hot tub is perfect and just what we needed to unwind. So cute and romantic with twinkly lights nested in the forest.
Tracie recommended and booked tables for us at local eateries which were both superb and a high standard. We ventured to Rhyl for a beach adventure with the dogs and had a lovely relaxing time. I would highly recommend this for a quiet and peaceful getaway with hygge coziness."

"Stayed here beginning of August for 4 nights with my mum as her 60th birthday present and wow!..... What a beautiful hidden gem with every conceivable thing you could need or want catered for. The space, the decor and every facility/amenity is of the highest standard and you can see attention to detail is a big thing for the owners.
Hot tub was fab and a first for my mum so that was a real treat! She just loved her stay here as it was so different and magical in its beautiful natural surroundings. She didn't want to leave!
There is plenty to see and do near by, too much for just 4 nights! Hope to be back some day and will certainly be recommending this place to friends.

"We came to stay for our wedding anniversary, just a short 3 night break. Leading up to our arrival we had plenty of information and communication with Tracie and arrived to this incredible place.
The location, the setting and all the little thoughtful touches were very much appreciated. our welcome pack with local produce made for tasty breakfast, snack and additions to our picnic basket.
We arrived on Tuesday and took a short walk with our poodles to the woods which is just a 2 minute walk from the house.
We took a drive into Denbeigh and picked up bits for our picnics and went back for tea.
Hot tub, oh the hot tub was most welcome after a long drive swiftly followed by a luxurious sleep in the oh so comfy bed.
Our next day was spent on a stunning walk at Aber Falls (we aren't walkers) but managed it easily and enjoyed the stunning Aber Waterfall. On our way back we visited the Aber Falls Gin Distillery which opens a visitor centre in September 2020- be sure to visit that. We visited Conway and Colwyn Bay and picked up some fish n chips from the local chip shop in Trefnant on our way home. After all our walking the hot tub and the comfy bed were very much needed.
Our next day we visited the Dyserth Waterfall and woods, stunninv views and very pretty the remainder of the day was spent at Rhyl beach and we enjoyed several hours just relaxing in the sunshine and collected a Chinese from the Sunflower in Denbeigh on our way home. A nice glass of red wine, the hot tub and our comfy bed finished off our stay.
Will come back i know that much but before we leave we will be going to Trefallen for the day.
Thank you Tracie for everything, your hard work in getting everything just right and being so attentive to cleaning following the Coronavirus Pandemic that has prevented us all from living normal lives.

"Had the most amazing weekend here for my husband's birthday. The lodge is in a beautiful location and Tracie and Mick are fantastic hosts.
We absolutely loved the decor inside the lodge and of course the hot tub!
The hamper of food that we ordered on arrival contained some amazing bits from the local butchers and is definitely a necessity if you're staying.
We will definitely be back and can't recommend highly enough."

The hot tub is wonderful and really topped the weekend off.
Great pubs nearby serving excellent food and Tracie is a brilliant host, really thoughtful and easy to communicate with.
We left feeling thoroughly relaxed and will certainly be visiting again."

We have all had such a wonderful time in this little piece of heaven , and really don’t want to go home .
Tracie and Mike are so lovely and made us all feel so welcome .
As for the lodge it’s absolutely beautiful. Every and I mean every last detail has been thought of for both us and our fur babies.
If you are looking for a luxury, relaxing break in a beautiful part of North Wales, then you really won’t be disappointed.
We have visited Bettws-y-Coed, Prestatyn,Anglesey and the beautiful Llyn Brenig Reservoir.
This really has been the best dog friendly holiday we have ever been on, from the lodge to the walks and the dog friendly pubs .
